Stephanie Myles

The law office of LaFosse MacLeod was pleased to welcome Stephanie Myles to its litigation practice in 2013. Stephanie received her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University in 2011, where she represented the school as a member of the Gale Cup competitive moot team. She completed a clerkship at the Nova Scotia Supreme Court during her last year of law school, before articling at a Halifax law firm and successfully completing the bar admission requirements.

As a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society and the Cape Breton Barristers’ Society, Stephanie has experience handling cases in Supreme Court, Provincial Court, and Small Claims Court. She enjoys being involved in her community, and serves on the boards of the YMCA of Cape Breton, the Transition House Association and the Central Cape Breton County Community Health Board. Stephanie is also active in the local triathlon and running communities.

Stephanie is excited to be growing her legal practice in Cape Breton. She welcomes new clients in her preferred areas of law, including: Civil litigation, Child protection, Employment, Criminal defense, and Insurance defense.
